Hi, I’m Mike Meszaros, the author of Sports Facility Expert and a passionate advocate for running high-performing sports facilities.

I began my journey in 2009 when I opened DNA Sports Center in a Cincinnati suburb. The 12,500-square-foot facility featured a high-quality turf field, batting cages and pitching tunnels, a weight room, and a party space. We also hosted a Parisi Speed School franchise, helping athletes of all ages improve their speed, strength, and agility.

In 2010, I started this blog to document what was working at DNA Sports Center and to share practical, actionable insights with other sports facility owners. My goal has always been to provide strategies and resources that help owners run more efficient, profitable, and engaging programs.

Experience With eSoft Planner 

In 2015, I sold DNA Sports Center to focus on my software company. Our flagship product, eSoft Planner, is a sports facility scheduling and management software designed specifically for gyms, academies, and multi-sport complexes. Even today, I often collaborate with the new owner at DNA Sports Center to test new features and ensure our software meets the real-world needs of facility operators.

Through eSoft Planner, I work with sports academy owners, complex managers, and training facility operators nationwide every day. I regularly consult on best practices, operations improvements, and growth strategies – insights that I continue to share here on this blog.

Sports are a personal passion of mine, too. Watching my own kids grow and improve at DNA Sports Center reinforced how important it is to run programs that keep people active, healthy, and engaged. My mission is to help other facility owners do the same, efficiently and profitably.
